| Defensive Driving Course-Daytime Course Fee (non-member): $120.00 9-4 (one day) This course consists of six sessions taught in six hours. These sessions will be presented in a lecture format with complementing videos. The students will work on case studies and written exercises. | Driver Education Course Fee (non-member): $670.00 The Safety Services Nova Scotia Driver Education Program has been training drivers for over 10 years. Our comprehensive, 35 hour course is recognized by the Nova Scotia Registry of Motor Vehicles and all major insurnace providers. The program consists of 25 hours in-class and 10 hours of in-car instruction. Pick-up is provided for the in-car instruction, however certain conditions will apply for each student. Students are required to obtain their learners permit and pay the registration fee before beginning in-car training. In-Class session courses are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm - 8pm with two Saturdays from 9am - 4pm. March, June, July, August and December will be day time courses from 9-4pm. |

| Driving School Instructor Course Course Fee (non-member): $1950.00 Safety Services Nova Scotia offers a two week* Driving School Instructor Preparation Course. This course is designed to provide individuals with the skills required to teach within driving schools. Some of the topics include: Signs Knowledge - Insurance and the Law - Graduated Licensing * The course consists of a total of 80 hours of training; 40 hours of in-class, and 40 hours in-vehicle instruction. Please contact our office for further information. This course will run 10 days. |
